Office Hours
Patients are seen by appointment Monday through Friday. Our office opens at 7:30 A.M. to help accommodate busy work schedules. We will try to schedule your appointment as quickly as possible.  We try our best to stay on schedule, although emergencies sometimes arise. If we are seriously delayed, we will try to notify you beforehand. Please assist us by being on time for your appointments.  If you are unable to keep your appointment or are going to be late, please call our office as soon as possible. This courtesy allows us to be of service to other patients. A charge will be made for repeated broken appointments

Dental Emergencies “24 hour coverage”
If you have an urgent problem, please call our office for instructions on how to contact Dr. Wilson 24 hours a day. If we are away, the answering service will inform you whom to contact.

First Appointment
During your first visit, we will begin to establish your permanent record.  You will be asked to complete a health history questionnaire and a registration form. Please bring your insurance card. It is helpful to arrive a few minutes early for your first visit. If you have been under the care of another doctor, we may ask you your permission to transfer some of your records.

Preventive Care Appointments
It is our joint responsibility to see that dentistry is properly cared for after completion. Therefore, we schedule patients at regular intervals for examinations and dental cleanings. Our goal is to maintain an attractive smile, greater comfort, and good function for our patients.

Fees
Charges for office visits and treatment are determined by the time spent and vary with the complexity of the problem. Routine procedures are available by telephone request. Please do not hesitate to discuss our fees if you have any questions.  It is one of our tenets to inform you of the fee(s) for your treatment in advance.  However, due to the very nature of any individual dental situation, your necessary treatment may differ from the original plan.  We will keep you informed if any change in your treatment is necessary.  You will be advised of any difference in fee accordingly.

Payment Policies
To keep billing costs at a minimum, we request payment be made the same day the procedure is completed. We accept personal checks, Discover Card, American Express, MasterCard, and VISA.  For extensive dental work, we will arrange a payment plan with you.  Longer term financing is provided through Care Credit which offers a variety of payment arrangements from 3 month no interest to 60 month financing plans. There is no need to delay necessary care.

Dental Insurance
We will help you submit your insurance claims by providing the information necessary for your carrier to process your claims. We will attempt to explain your benefits to you, although your insurance carrier is the final authority.  Most insurance plans are not designed to pay the entire fee and require you to pay any difference between benefits and actual cost. These policies usually have deductibles and co-payment clauses that limit their liability. Also, the dollar benefits are payable directly to you, and you must agree in writing to have those benefits paid to us. Because of these features, we will normally make payment arrangements with you for the entire fee; you can then expect to be reimbursed directly by the insurance carrier. If we agree to accept payment from your insurance carrier directly, as a service to you, the portion not paid by the company must be paid by you at the time the work is completed. We cannot guarantee that your insurance carrier will clear your account with us and, therefore, you must remain solely responsible for your account. In the event that there is any overpayment, we will credit your account or refund the overpayment to you at your option. In the same fashion, if there is any shortfall in payment, you will be responsible for paying it, usually within ten days of payment from the insurance carrier.

Confidentiality
Your dental record is strictly private. No information regarding your condition will be given to your employer, friends, or relatives without your permission. For our full privacy policy you can access our HIPPA disclosure under “Support”.
